General purpose column has a PTFE stopcock with 2mm bore and a top S 35/20 spherical joint. With a coarse porosity fritted disc to support column packing. The section below disc is carefully minimized to prevent re-mixing of components already separated. (For porosity grade see table here). Please order stainless steel clamp for S35/20 spherical joint (CC3525) separately (not supplied). * All Synthware® columns are heavy wall designed to increase safety. * Since the chromatography column is used with positive air pressure, it’s highly recommended that operator uses column behind a safety shield.
