Specialist glassware, without the specialist runaround

Buying good synthesis glassware is harder than it should be. The general catalogues are wide but shallow, the specialist ones are hard to navigate, and a lot of suppliers will not deal with you at all unless you are a purchasing department at a large institution.

Laboxin exists to close that gap. We carry the Synthware range — borosilicate 3.3 glassware designed for synthetic chemistry since 1992 — and we sell it to whoever needs it. University groups, industrial R and D, small companies, independent researchers and serious hobbyists all order from us on the same terms.

We also try to make the choosing easier. The technical guides on this site are there because the questions behind most of our emails are the same ones: which porosity grade, which joint size, what the glass can take. They are written to be useful whether or not you buy anything.

Alongside the new Synthware range we run a second line in inspected second-hand glassware, acquired from laboratories that are closing, consolidating or changing methods. Borosilicate glass does not wear out, and good apparatus should not go in a skip because a lab moved premises.
